Ready for another fun way to add some smoke flavor to your food?  This recipe is a fun twist on s’mores  and is fun for the kids to make.  Try our Reserve Blend pellets for a great smoke flavor of apple, cherry and oak.

Yield: 12 Cones
Prep time: 5-8 Minutes
Cook time: 15 Minutes at 275 Degrees

Measure       Ingredient                                               Prep Notes

                        Chocolate Chips, Ghirardelli                 Milk Chocolate
                        Marshmallows, Mini

Butterscotch Chips, Mini M&M’s or Mini Peanut Butter Cups

Cooking Notes:
This can be done on the Traeger, Weber or Big Green Egg
Add some smoke to build flavor. Smoke tube, smoke box or smoker cubes
Temps remain the same for Traeger, Weber or Big Green Egg

Cooking Directions:
Preheat your Traeger to 275 Degrees
Place the Popper rack on your counter and load with the 12 cones
Be sure to arrange the cones so they don’t fall over when loaded full of goodies
Layer the inside of the cones as follows
Bottom – a few mini marshmallows
2nd Layer – Milk Chocolate Chips
3rd Layer – Mini Marshmallows
Top – Milk Chocolate Chips
Place into the pre-heated Traeger
Cook for 5-7 minutes or until the layer is bubbly and browned
Using insulated gloves or tongs, carefully remove the cones from the Traeger and serve with a napkin wrapped around the bottom of the cone
Be sure to let cool slightly before the first bite
We do not recommend removing the full rack from the cones, trust me when I tell you this. The “test” batch may have landed all over the ground.
